Tour Details

Set sail from Playa Tamarindo aboard the Marlin del Rey, a 66-foot sailing catamaran. The boat is licensed for 90 passengers, but capacity is limited to 75 so there's plenty of room to spread out on deck.

Watch for sea life along the way, then drop anchor to snorkel, try some fishing, or simply relax with a drink from the premium open bar. A light lunch is served around 3:30 PM, and the afternoon ends sailing back as the sun sets over the Pacific.

Good to know: bring your own beach towel, and have a snack before you board since lunch is served mid-afternoon. Snorkeling spots are part of a wild environment, so conditions can change with the weather, season, and sea.

Staying near Playas del Coco or Papagayo? The same sunset sail also departs from Playas del Coco aboard the Marlin del Rey's sister ships.
